OK: there are lots of tools that can monitor a VMWare cluster.
Why another one?
I have a VMware cluster (already installed) to monitor with Zabbix (already installed).
I wanted to learn a bit of PowerCLI and learn the meaning of some metric in Vmware.
Script are very ugly but they work as expected.
You can find the a template designed to monitor CPU, Memory, Datastore (three datastore already configured as volume-1, volume-2, volume-3) and a couple of scripts.
To make it work, you have to put the two scripts (bash and powershell) into the zabbix external scripts folder, import the template and adjust the macro values
You have to install powershell and powercli on your Linux, also! 😀

Con un po' di ritardo... ma la settimana scorsa mi sono presentato in un'accademia Cisco Academy e ho passato l'esame CCNA.
Sono in attesa del certificato da stampare ed appendere :-)
